They don't care about getting syntax right or fixing typos. They had an opportunity to make a headline out of negative press about a big PSP game and they were all over it. Mission accomplised, especially with a flourish of mentioning 'clunky controls'.

PSP Fanboy - the most anti-PSP site you'll ever see.

This game is pretty bad. It's definitely a good-looking game, and I can imagine how fun the exploration would have been with a better control scheme and camera, but sadly, I couldn't stomach it for more than an hour.

How is it an anti-psp sentiment if they're posting reviews written by other sites? Sorry, pixelator, but your hate is finally bordering on the ridiculous. If you're soooo against this site, why don't you scurry off to another instead of returning over and over again with your silly posts? At this point, it's simply a waste of breath on your part, and you're probably just a sad afterthought at the pspfanboy watercooler. Maybe you just need a new hobby =(

The PSP will remain in it's crappy state until someone gets the idea that we don't want lousy ports, we want full orinal games. If I wanted tomb raider legend i would buy it on PS2.

Give us more Loco Roco, game developing people.

First off, I'm not defending the PSP nor do I refuse to see its flaws. But for every blog post here to always be anti-PSP (how many times have we seen the Japanese dude holding the smashed PSP pic?), it gets old. I'm not the only one who sees it.

Second, this is one crappy (I haven't played it myself) port - it doesn't define the entire library. Besides, is it any great shock a Tomb Raider game doesn't pass muster, anymore? Not to me, they've been having problems for years with that franchise.

If the games are so crappy, why are they so highly rated? Do you see all the DS people bitching about another Mario Kart, Mario Bros, Pokemon, etc.? Hey, they have more than their share of ports, and plenty suck just as bad: Rayman? Ridge Racers? And more recently, Top Spin? X-Men? Cars? Super Black Bass?

Bottom line is, if the ports are good, who cares? Could we use more original games of high quality? Yes, but that's true of almost any platform these days. Ports are a symptom of what's wrong with the industry, not what's inherently wrong with the PSP.

What's really wrong with the PSP? I'll tell ya. No decent active multimedia online store like iTunes. The repeated incremental firmwares stifling homebrew. How long it took Sony to release a $199 pack here in the states. No keyboard. GT4 taking forever. THOSE are valid gripes. Saying the library sucks is just an idiotic statement, because it's got a better library than most game systems have had at this point in their lifespan.

Am I just a water cooler phantom? Maybe. But after spending 14+ years in the industry, that water cooler shows me things about how this crap plays out that you may not know.
